The Master of Nursing (MN) program at Dalhousie provides graduate students with the opportunity to learn practical skills and participate in research that makes a global impact.

Upon entering the program, MN students can choose from one of two program options:

  • Nurse practitioner: For students wishing to prepare for a clinical career as a licensed Nurse Practitioner
  • Professional stream: For students wishing to prepare for a leadership role

For Master's you need:

  • Four-year Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B average) in the last 60 credit hours of study
  • Degree granted by university of recognized standing
