Study history, art, politics, literature, economics, language, philosophy, psychology, music, anthropology, religion, etc. With 30 different combinations of majors, minors, and honors to choose from, you'll get a truly personalized and excellent educational experience.
Art first-year students can now access new courses designed to combine academic learning with interdisciplinary learning and connections. The academic seminar program also provides accommodation options, allowing you to live and learn among peers who share common academic interests.
Humanities Colloquium: An optional first-year course where students will learn from the best teachers: the Bible, the Koran, Plato, Sophocles, Aristotle, Virgil, Saint Augustine, etc. Students study philosophy, English, and art history and teach collaboratively as one course.
Social Justice Colloquium: During the first year of their choice, BA students can participate in specialized sections in Anthropology, Global History, and Women and Gender Studies. Students will explore the scope of the human experience, from our prehuman roots to the diversity of our lives in today's world, and will understand how movements for social change affect our society. Your classroom learning will be enriched by meaningful service work in the local area.
Public Policy and Governance: A new four-year program at the Academy of Arts, offering honors, majors, and minor options. Students acquire knowledge and skills in public affairs, leadership, the ways and reasons for government decision-making, and options for solving a wide range of public problems in local and global communities.

Bachelor of Arts and Science in Health (4yrs)
Graduated with an interdisciplinary degree, studying health from the perspective of art and science. BASc in Health provides an interdisciplinary approach to health, drawing lessons from the fields of science, society, and the humanities.
Students who study health from a joint perspective of art and science will have a balanced understanding of the interrelated nature of health, including medical, social, ethical, and cultural factors. This program is unique in Canada and will provide a competitive advantage for students who wish to work in health-related fields.
Bachelor of Arts and Science in Climate and Environment (4yrs)
This degree is ideal for students seeking interdisciplinary education in climate and environment. The global response to climate change confirms that a method is needed to account for our environment's scientific and social dimensions. The degree program will have an interdisciplinary approach in the related but different fields of climate and the environment.
You will study our world's physical, biological, and chemical makeup, our social relationship with nature, and how the earth's energy balance affects our environment. This multifaceted approach is well suited for students seeking an interdisciplinary education with a unique climate and environmental advantages.
For high school students, the minimum requirements include an overall average of 70% in Grade 12, with no marks below 65% in each of the required subjects.
