In our German study course, you will be familiar with German, the practice of grammar, literature, and culture. The ability to communicate in different languages can broaden your understanding of other cultures and increase your opportunities in the job market. Language learning can also help you develop stronger communication skills and critical thinking skills, useful for all kinds of occupations.

Acadia offers small classes so you can improve your interaction with teachers and classmates inside and outside of the classroom. The teachers of the Academic German course use the latest technology to teach and learn foreign languages. By the fourth year, you will acquire the necessary skills to function fully in a German-speaking environment. The course focuses on speaking, listening, and writing, using a combination of multimedia tools.
Through extracurricular activities, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the cultural life of German-speaking countries. If you specialize in German, you will study for one year in Freiburg, Germany. German is also popular as a double major and minor.
Future Careers:
Completion of Grade -12 or High School or Equivalent. All applications must be supported by official copies of all high school transcripts and other records of academic work.
Transcripts should be certified by the school and prepared in a sealed envelope by the school. They can either be sent to Acadia directly from the school or given to the student to send. Certified transcripts acceptable to Acadia will be used as a basis of admission.
