Program Overview for Geology (BSc) in Canada:

If you choose to study geology, you will become a science detective and work closely with your professors to uncover the earth's past and predict its future. If you are into outdoor activities, have a good scientific knowledge base, and want to understand how the world around you works, you will find the field of earth science beneficial.

The Geology course can be used at the BSc and BSc (Hons) levels. Acadia courses allow you to obtain a professional registration as a geologist. It includes core courses from first grade to fourth grade and allows elective courses tailored to your interests. In addition to the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, you also study chemistry, mathematics, and physics.

Inspired by Small classes, frequent field trips, and a close-knit community, ensure that you build a strong network of people, usually long after graduation. The integration of fieldwork and technology provides you with useful hands-on experience and exposure to all aspects of geology. The faculty and staff are committed to your success and provide you with personalized attention.
