Klussendorf / McKown Scholarships in USA: Seven $1,500 scholarships
Today's dairy leaders are in schools, dairy youth groups, dairy contests, and on dairy farms all throughout the country. The mission of the National Dairy Shrine is to encourage, stimulate, and inspire them. Since its founding, the National Dairy Shrine has understood the significance of establishing a foundation for the future, and it has continually extended its young programs to catch and challenge the attention of outstanding dairy kids.
Every year, dairy students, our future leaders, are able to apply for National Dairy Shrine college scholarships and recognition prizes totaling more than $40,000 in funding.
Other than filling personal informations, A student need to write essays on the following topics:
College or university students in the United States (USA) or Canada
Three scholarships from the Klussendorf Chris Kampf Fund and four from the McKown Fund will be granted. Students who have completed their first, second, or third years at a 2-year or 4-year college or university in the United States or Canada and are majoring in dairy science, animal science, agri-business, or other related majors that will develop the skills needed to pursue a career in the dairy industry are eligible.
Scholarships are awarded based on activities, experience, and a desire to show dairy cattle in the future. Chris Kampf, the McKown family, and Klussendorf members and friends have all donated to make these prizes possible.
