Roddenberry Fellowship, launched in 2016, is a United States-based fellowship awarded to prominent leaders and advocates using new and innovative strategies to protect human rights and ensure an equal and just society for all.
Roddenberry Fellowship is a 12-month program that provides researchers with US $ 50,000 to take existing programs (such as events, organizations) to a new level and expand their impact or launch new programs.
To date, 70 Roddenberry Fellows from different disciplines across the country have taken action on various issues such as immigration detention, the right to vote, and domestic abuse. Join them!

Generally speaking, we are interested in ambitious, creative initiatives likely to affect a significant portion of a target population, geography, or community. Hyper-local initiatives or those small in scope are great but not aligned with our Fellowship goals. You also don’t need to be well-known or have 50K twitter followers – we want individuals with a track record of success, a bold vision for the future, and initiatives with potential for large-scale change.
