Cory L. Richards Memorial Scholarship in USA: One (1) award of US$15,000 will be granted each year. Awards are not renewable and are for graduate study only.
The Cory L. Richards Memorial Scholarship, sponsored by the Guttmacher Institute, supports emerging leaders in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights. The scholarship was established in 2014 to commemorate the leader in this field, Cory L. Richards, whose distinguished career at the Guttmacher Institute spanned nearly four years and reflects one of his basic commitments: training The development of new leaders.
It accomplishes this goal by providing financial support to students who plan to promote public policy related to sexual and reproductive health and rights and who are pursuing advanced degrees in public health or public policy.
Starting in 2021, up to two people will be selected as Cory Richards scholars, and each will receive a one-time scholarship of US$15,000 to support full-time or part-time postgraduate study at an accredited institution in the United States. In keeping with the college and Cory's commitment to equal opportunities, priority is given to students with financial needs.
