The MasterCard Foundation Fellows Program is training the next generation of leaders in Africa. The program enables students whose talents and potential exceed their financial resources to complete their studies. The vision of the plan is that education is a catalyst for social and economic change.
The plan focuses on training transformative leaders and encouraging them to become active contributors to the community.

For undergraduate (bachelor's) degrees, candidates must be 29 years of age or older at the time of application. For postgraduate (master's) degrees, candidates must be 35 years of age or older at the time of application.
In addition, each university has its own grading standards. Please carefully check the application requirements of the institutions you are interested in applying to.
Becoming a scholar:
To be considered for this program, students must be strong academically and demonstrate a commitment to changing the lives of others. The scholarship program is implemented through our partner universities and NGOs. The application process and decision-making are managed separately by each partner. If you are interested in becoming a scholar, you must apply through the university of your choice.
Partner colleges have their own deadlines and fees for admission. We recommend that you study the application guidelines or contact the institution of your choice for more information. For schools that require application fees as part of the admissions process, if the student is selected for the enrollment program, the fee will be refunded.
