Brunei Government Scholarships are available for diplomas, undergraduate, and post-graduate programs. It's a foreign scholarship with a high level of competition. Brunei Darussalam Scholarship is administered by Brunei's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Brunei's government accepts foreign applicants from all over the world. Every year, a large number of students attend Brunei's universities and become part of the international community.
Application Criteria for Brunei Government Scholarships
- An applicant either applying for an undergraduate or diploma, he or should be between 18 to 25 years of age.
- An applicant either applying for a master’s degree program, he or should be under 35 years of age.
The benefit of the Brunei Government Scholarships
- Monthly stipend for living expenses up to BND$500.
- Monthly stipend for meals amounting to BND$150
- Yearly stipend for books amounting to BND$600
- Accommodation will be provided at the university.
- Baggage allowance will be provided to an awardee for the shipment of personal stuff to the country of origin on the degree or program completion.
- Medical insurance will be provided.
- Registration, examination, acceptance, and tuition fees are exempted.
- Provision of economy class return tickets.
- An additional allowance for candidates hailing from outside the ASEAN region.

All countries are eligible for Brunei Government Scholarships.
- International students can apply for scholarships in Brunei.
- Students who are residents of Brunei are not eligible to apply.
