Program Overview for Education / Concentration: Health Professions Education, Doctorate in Canada:
The program participates in the collaborative program in Canadian Studies at the PhD level.
The PhD program is offered in the following five concentrations:
- Educational counselling (suspended until further notice)
- Health professions education
- Leadership, evaluation, curriculum and policy studies
- Societies, cultures and languages
- Studies in teaching and learning
These are the international student eligibility for the Education / Concentration: Health Professions Education, Doctorate in Canada
Minimum average of B+ and must have a master's degree with thesis in science, in health sciences or in a related field. . Other Documents:
- A narrative statement (3-4) pages) stating research interests and a summary of the master's thesis. N.B. Applicants who have not completed a thesis must submit a major research paper or equivalent (peer reviewed article, book chapter, research proposal, etc.) preferably related to education with the application to establish an equivalency to the thesis for admission purposes.
- Resume required.
- Please note that non required admission documents will not be consulted, conserved or returned to the student. These documents will be destroyed according to our administrative procedures.
